Spring has sprung and San Diego is continuing to hold steady in a strong Seller’s market. I know many of you watch your local news and hear the same news I hear. Interest rates are continuing to rise and buyers are bowing out of the market!
BUT, please know inventory is still ridiculously low in many areas of San Diego, (especially North County) so the buyers that remain in the market continue to have some stiff competition. As of today, Carlsbad only has 41 ‘active’ homes on market, and Encinitas is even less, with just 35 single-family homes currently available. If the home shows well in a great location, you will still witness lines of cars outside the open houses and buyers competing in multiple offer situations. As they say always say in real estate….”location, location, location”.
